I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe as the world starts to reopen and go back to some semblance of normal. I don’t know about you, but I for one am currently back in the office for my day job 2 days a week, and moving up to 3 next month…though to be perfectly honest, that’s as many days as I would ever want to go back to the office given I’m 100% more productive at home – socializing with coworkers is great, but heckin’ distracting when you’re in an open concept and I’m trying to get things done…plus, you can’t get a better coworker than Lord Tuggs!
But that’s not what this post is about! This post is actually at the request of one of you (yes you, a reader!). I’ve gotten some requests from folks who aren’t on Instagram and are tired of being asked to sign up just to take a gander at my photos to just post them here, so that’s what I’m going to do! Every other week (to offset my lack of new recipes, I will include some photos and thoughts on each little project as the coming weeks and months are going to be BUSY! I hope you enjoy this new segment and look forward to bringing the joy of cookies to a more viewer friendly platform!
Hope you all are well and safe! – Cooking Maggie
Cookie Sheet & Stand Mixer Cookies
This set was inspired by the upcoming addition of my late grandmother’s stand mixer to my kitchen! DOUBLE THE COOKIES! DOUBLE THE FUN! 🤩 Frankie did say though that the cookies definitely threw him off because he thought he would be biting into a chocolate chip cookie and then didn’t get a chocolate chip taste. I found it super funny though to watch him come to terms with it, lol! But next time I think I will paint the trays and bowls silver so they stand out a little more.
Dog Momager Birthday Cookies
This set was a ton of fun to make too simply because it took inspiration from a dog apparel brand called Ripley and Rue! They have a lot of fantastic and sassy phrases, and as a fellow dog mom, I completely relate and feel seen by a lot of their stuff!
